"The Orb"
A woman believes she can hear her deceased child from a mysterious, glowing orb.
This student short film was filmed in the span of one day and was completed within a two week time frame. Our guidelines for this challenge were that we needed to include the line "This is a turtle" and it needed to be a faith-based thriller. For this production, I was apart of the cast and assisted with production sound, pre-production, and production assistant duties.
"Call by Midnight"
A detective receives an anonymous envelope with clues to solve before his biggest secret is revealed.
This short film was also created with the same time restraints. Our guidelines for this challenge were that it needed to include the line "If you make it out alive, you're gonna wish you were dead", utilize an axial cut, and must fit within the genre "detective noir". I directed and wrote the screenplay for this short.
